Apparently there is some "Edit HTML" thing in Xanga that I need in order to display the text box for my layouts....But the problem is, I have no clue where it is or how to do it! Can someone please help me? Thanks.

If you're using a Mac computer, it's just a link you click on that says something like... 'View HTML'.
