How long do Chuck Taylor's last until they are all tattered and torn and dirty. I bought a pair which has a main color of black and I'm curious how long will they look good. My mom never let me buy Chuck Taylors before because she read that they cause ankle injurys when running (wtf??). My friends say it will last about 2 years and others say that they last until you outgrown them. Also, what ways can them clean?

Erm, I've had mine for about 2 yrs. [not too long]
But yea, they've withstood my beatings LOL. I've worn them so long that they even faded from black to maroonish. I stopped wearing them about 3-5 months ago tho. |
