how do you make an animation as if you were actually writing...not just letters popping up one at a time...like actual writing with the lines slowly forming letters...is that confusing? sorry if it is ><

i have adobe photoshop + imageready (which that's where the animation usually takes place). i knew that if i did it layer by layer, it'll take a MILLION layers...but i've seen ads that had a pen writing on a paper which i thought..hey...i wanna do that too! gah...i hope there's a way ><
