how about posting all the rules that members are supposed to follow?

if people are expected to follow it, then post it.

like, don't post a picture at the end of every post because it eats up bandwith.

and don't post a quote at the end of a thread with a link to a poll asking peopel to vote.

those two things are in the rules. its called SPAM. if you repeatedly post some thing in a topic that has nothing to do with it and instead belongs in a different topic, then yeah... there arent any unwritten rules...

each post must be on topic. most all my posts were on topic. with the mere addition of something at the end. it is not spamming, nor is it advertising outside site.

it is off topic, but it's part of a post that as a whole is on topic, and so you can't consider it spam.
