Do you think we should increase the number of requirements for official member-dom? Currently it seems that one can be an official member in just a day, which doesn't show a lot of dedication to createblog. Perhaps we should implement a rule that says they should have joined CB for a minimum of a week (or something like that) with a ppd of 5?

Well, one of the other requirements is to maintain a 5+ PPD so I think that takes care of inactive members. I do check official members PPDs regularly so I don't think this is a problem.
And I don't want to discourage members from applying for Official Member status. Plus, raising the post count requirement may encourage members to spam even more within one or a few days. |
