 Im moving away from my home town that ive been living in for over 12 years. Im moving out of state and everything. All my friends that i've been friends with since I was a baby live here and im moving away from them. Its really hard for me. Is there anyone out their that have had the same problem that have helpful tips? |

^ wow, yes. That happened to me about 3 or 4 months ago. I was clinging and everything! I hated to think about leaving at all. Well, yeah. I sorta threw a mini party and talked to all my friends and told my crushes I liked them. 2 weeks before I moved, there was the last school dance (cheap school) and I got to dance with my ex-bf and ALMOST get my first kiss. And almost get to dance with my crush.
 It was really cool. Everyone was buying me stuff and giving me stuff and getting all the hotties to dance with me. LMFAO. What I'm trying to say is, doing something uberly special for yourself. Whether it's a party, a phone party, an internet party, WHATEVER. Have a last celebration. A sleepover perhaps. And keep in touch with long-distance phone & give out your screenname. Haha, beware, people might IM you asking HOW ARE YOU? and How is (your location name here). Yeah, just think about the good things about the place. Trust me, you'll eventually get over it. I still haven't made any friends yet (okay, maybe just one or two  ) but you will soon. =) By the way, where are you moving to?
