Is there something wrong with dating, marrying, or being intimate with someone from a different race?
I don't see any problem at all with being with someone from a different race, I like all guys. Is it a sin? Why don't people accept it? What's the problem with being with someone of a different color or culture? |

There has been RACISM for many years. Its the matter of what the Parents support. It is not a Sin. Our parents have been taught differently. They have been brought up by their parents who existed during the times of Racism. There hasnt always been equal rights.
To answer your first question, there is absolutely nothing wrong with marrying, dating, or being intimate with someone of a different race. Your parents have been brought up by their parents who may think that it is morally wrong to marry someone of the opposite race. We have been taught differently by our schools. That we shouldnt be racist against blacks or hispanics. My dad grew up with no african americans in his time. He wasnt used to seeing as many blacks and hispanics. He thinks that they did something wrong to him because of invading his lifestyle. This is why my dad would not support me of marrying or dating someone of a different race. As is the same for many families. Its not only your parents that probably do not support this. Your grandmother, or uncles could feel the same. People do not accept it because they think that races should stick together and not mix. It is mainly our parents and grandparents that think this. Because they were brought up during racism. There is really no problem being with someone of a different culture. Many people will probably not accept it. But that still shouldnt stop you from following your heart. |
