hello kids. just a quick question. when you have a picture of a friend and yourself, what do you caption it as?
"my friend and i at the picnic" or "my friend and me at the picnic" and which one is correct? i thought it was "and me" but it seems as if so many people use "and i" ...right. grammar nazis, help? edit: Yes, i know that it's "my friend and I" when you're writing a sentence. But i'm talking about picture captions. is it still the same? I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT SENTENCES, I'M TALKING ABOUT PICTURE CAPTIONS |

A caption is still a sentence/phrase right? So it still counts.
It's: My friend and I. Otherwise... it'd be.. Friend and me. ^^^ "Friend" being a proper noun. When there's a modifier in front of the subject, there should be an 'I'. Or so I think... It's been awhile since I thought about it... ![]() It might be the other way around. Someone correct me if you have to. |

So for a caption like that you would you My friend and me at the picnic... |
