I believe that we should have cB councilers. Why? Because some people in cb are treated harsh and unfairly. Some members here usually get bashed for making stupid topics, stupid posts, racial remarks, etc. I believe they should get help from the councilers privately on PM, or anywhere they feel comfortable. The councilers must be nice and helpful though..duh..yes..they would help the person thats getting counciled and give him/her ideas and plans to be better here in cB and try prevent bad things from happening. who's with me?

Yes, back to counseling.
I actually don't think it's that bad of an idea. And as easy as it is to say "Don't let internet beef get to you," "stop coming to a site," people have a natural need to be liked, or at least accepted somewhat, no matter the setting, so it's hard to just let things go. However, I don't think we need a special member group devoted to counseling. Perhaps some volunteers from People staff (since they're in and around the community a lot more) to act as peer mediators? |
