ok so i looked for topics on tampons but none really answered what i was looking for. So. You know how on the box when it says don't wear a tampon for more then like 6-8 hours? does that mean one tampon or a tampon throughout the whole day.
ie: i put a tampon in at lets say 6 am and then i take it out at uh ( haha im counting)..noon which is approx 6 hours does that mean i can't wear anymore tampons for the whole day? or does it mean that you start another 6-8 hours with another tampon.. sorry if this is confusing but im confusing myself.. |

I leave my tampon in over night and meaning I tend to enjoy sleeping in, I don't change it until I wake up which may mean 10 or 11 hours =P It's totally fine. As long as the tampon isn't left in for more than 24 hours then it should be just fine. You may develope infections, etc., if left in for to long of a period of time and it also depends on the types of tampons you are using. After removing the tampon and if you are still on your period, then place a new one in. Do not constantly change your tampon on the hour because it's not healthy.
