need help with modules, div layers-I'm lost! Options

I wanted to position my custom modules on my xanga. I got the code for them here. When I just use the code for them, they're a bit higher than my blog, but still to the left. I wanted to use div layers to move them level with my blog. I tried putting both the modules and the blog in divs, but it's not working. They're still "attached" and I can't move one without moving the other. I tried a few different ways. The one I have now has a border around both of them, so I can even see they're still attached. If someone could help me fix the code, I would appreciate it sooooooo much. Thanks for any help, I'll post my header HTML and a link.

It's still not working, but thanks for trying. It makes it one big div, not two. I want to be able to move the modules seperate from the blog. How would I go about that?
