AHHHHH I need help with div layers!, Help please! Options

Okay, I have basically grasped the idea of divs, and how they work etc. I managed my 1st layer, typed out mysecond, but somehow I can't get it to show up on the first.

Is it because I set the z-index to 0? Or is it another reason...

I'm new to CSS and such like, but I really really want to learn! I hope someone can help me!!

ok css and divs are two diffrent things .
css involves stylesheets and changing colors , divs invovle positioning.

uh, wrong?

you use css to position your divs, not just to change the colors. a div is just a box container for content, similar to a table.

you'd need a different z-index for each div, and yes you use css for that.

not necesarily, at least not for beginners, they can start learning div layers, then css. Css is more complex. It's hard to learn both at the same time.

That's a simple code. Just copy it and modify its variables. You can make many div layers and they will all show right with this easy code.
