Does anyone around these parts listen to The Toadies? They're a great band. I first fell in love with them when I heard the song "Tyler", which has a really sweet bass line. I don't know if a lot of people know them, but it's likely you know one of their songs--"Possum Kingdom", one of their singles, got a lot of air time back in the mid-1990's, although it's the kind of song where you go, "Hey, who plays that, anyway?" At any rate, they're an amazing group. The lead singer, Todd Lewis, can really sing, and their music is melodic, yet very rock-oriented. They formed in the early 1990's, so they have a 90's-style post-grunge sound, mixed with an emo quality of early emo bands like Texas is the Reason. Anyway, they're a great band, and if you haven't heard of them, check them out if you get a chance.

The Toadies are amazing!
When I was younger, I remember listening to them with my sister.
Good memories. =)

But, have you heard of The Burden Brothers?
It's Todd Lewis "project" band.

I got to see The Burden Brothers in concert when they came down to Corpus.
It was awesome!
