Again .. I'm trying out as a film maker over the summer. I was wondering if there's any good video editing software available.

Final Cut Pro rocks my socks. But if you have PC you could also get Vegas 4.0 and there is a trial version on download.com Plus it's 500 dollars cheaper which is kind of nice....It's almost exactly like Final Cut (in so many ways). Top Programs Film Editors Use: 1) Final Cut Pro--Mac 2) Avid--PC 3) Vegas--PC Dude, we should totally talk over PM. Yeah and I agree---get the educational discount if possible.  It will save you big bucks.
