my parents, ..divorce Options

I know that many kids have had their parents get a divorce...but right now I'm crying & it's because my Dad cheated on my Mom...& the woman he had sex with is now pregnant & I have a half brother or sister on the way!!... ..& I don't know what to do..I'm trembling..I mean this isn't even the worst part of my life...but I don't know what to do...& I jusst wannt some comfort by people on CB who understand what I'm going through or have some words of encouragement to say... ...Thank you!!..

man. i am SO sorry that had to happen.

when i was 8, my parents fought violently every single night---and basically tried to kill each other--for real. and it was pretty scary for me and my sister.

but, 3 year later, they finally got divorced when i was 11. i was very sad about it---because i didn't want my family breaking up.

but then i realized---now (4 years later) that i am more than happy that this had happened.

they just weren't meant for each other. and now, instead of being forced to live together--my parents are each happy with their own lives. my mom got remarried and my dad is happy the way he is.

and--although i can't imagine going through the whle affair thing--and getting another woman pregnant, i can at least try and relate a little.

just... what your dad did... was just SO LOW..

how could he do that?

especially when he had a wife and kid(s) at home?!

i'm very very sorry. i hope things are getting better.

i know they will get better.

my parents are just like that. they fight every night and they really shouldn't be together but tehy say they stay together because it's asian or some bs like that and it's been going on for a long time. my brother ( the oldest) is 21 and its just been that long. they argue every freaking night and one of them always leaves and i feel like i have to attempt to mold things back to gether no matter how easy it would be just to let my dad walk out on us because he's what screwing everyone up because he starts with us. anyway, things might be better that this happened. things happen for a reason and maybe it's just something thats gonna end up being valuble to u in the future =) oh and personally, try not to be mean to your half bro/sis cause it really isn't their fault and don't hate them because of what he/she is a product of...just think positive =)
