You know for the fellow Americans that watch Animes and good portion of them are censored like animes that air on FOX and there are so much that is censored and our good fellow anime watchers dont even know what they are missing.
Like for example i love Cardcaptors, and now i have learned to find out that madison is a lesbian and likes sakura and her brother is gay and goes out with his friend. AND there are also a lot of lesbian and gay people in sailor moon. so has anybody know of things they censored out in other of our favorite animes? |

Yeah, a friend of mine gets Arashi No Ceres as a manga, and she was telling me that they censor it completly in the english manga, and that it's "really bad" in the japanese version. ::shrugs:: For me I'd rather see the original copy, that's why the artist made it like that, so everybody could see the original and not some hacked up version.
I always suspected that "Madison" who's real name is Tomoyo liked Sakura in the lesbian way. I don't really care either. The artist/creators made it that way, so it should be shown that way. I hate how the US is censoring everything I like buying/renting animes and watching them in japanese and reading their subtitles for the show and not english dubbed, because everything is totally warped. |
