Stuck on a blend

I actually don't know how to blend, methinks, because I've never looked at a tutorial... I just kind of went at it today. And I have this cute blend, no idea for a theme or what else to do with it:



I started adding brushes and effects, but it started looking tackier and tackier, so I ended up deleting it all... so any ideas for me? What to add, what not to add, etc?

Try changing the colors, adding a texture, brushes that fit with the blend, things like that. Don't just fling brushes on it, because it will look out of place and random. With the textures, you can find a good one to use, and mess around with the blending modes.
