Define cheating. Options

I think this has already been made before, but I couldn't find the topic. Feel free to merge them, though, should the link be found.

What do you consider cheating?

I think cheating is saying or doing anything you wouldn't do in front of your significant other. Crushing is inevitable, but it's whether or not you act on it that defines "cheating."

Well, someone else had said even flirting is cheating, but I definitely don't think that constitutes as cheating..

Something like saying, "If I wasn't with Mr. A, I would date you, Mr. B." I think is close to cheating, but not necessarily cheating. It is being disloyal, but I consider cheating dating two people at the same time and/or kissing, holding hands, etc..doing things that couples are who are dating normally do.

I don't consider liking someone else cheating, either. Even telling them is OK, since it's always better for people to know those kinds of things, as long as you don't do anything about it. If they know you have someone else, and they continue to pursue you, that happens, but as long as you don't act on that, it's not cheating. They can say whatever they want, sure, but if you don't provoke them to do so in the first place, then that's OK.
