did you actually think i was going to advertise? c'mon now. you should know by now that i know better than that!

no actually, my question is, what's the most valuable thing (to you) that you've ever lost?. i suck at searching, so maybe i missed it or something.

but yeah. here's my lame sob story.

i was a wee little boy back in the day and we went to visit yellowstone and i brought my little stuffed animal penguin that i had with me my ENTIRE LIFE.

and his name was "tux." and i brought him with me everywhere i went. i was like... 3? 4? 5?

anyway, we were checking out of this hotel, and we drove ALL the way to COLORADO when i realized i left tux in the hotel!

so i started crying and whatnot.

and we called the hotel and went back and everything. and found nothing.

and i feel like that's the most valuable thing (to me at the time) that i've ever lost

but i wouldn't remember much

yeah. i'm that lame to still remember that. i've lost much more valuable things than that like gold stuff and watches that costed hundreds to thousands. but none of those really meant as much to me as tux did when i was a litttttle boy.

so this isn't about money value.

it's about personal value

my parents never forgave me.

we were in the mall, and our parents were in the bathroom, and i was mad at him. so i told him to go get candy across the mall. and then he never came back. i looked for him, but couldn't find him. our parents freaked out. they called the police and everything. but they never found him.

i still don't know what happened to him.

i was like... 8. he was 5. :-(

i don't even know if he's still alive.

And anubis, I know what you mean when you lose things like that. I have a polar bear stuffed animal named Jellybean that I've had all my life. She's the most precious thing ever and I don't even bring her on trips anymore because I'm afraid of losing her.
