do we really need another thread every time someone goes on vacation?
there are two in like the first 5 topics in the lounge right now... i mean, you dont need to post to say you wont be here for a WEEK. i mean, possibly if you'll be gone for three months, but otherwise, no so perhaps we could create some sort of pinned 'going away?' thread? |

lol I think a pinned topic on "going away" would be a bit too much. Since so many people are leaving createblog for a week, month, or even forever, we should have a "goodbye cb" forum, just like the introductions!!!!!!
 haha, no i kid. seriously. I find it ok if someone says they are going away for a month or a few months, i've seen those around...but then we get "i'm gone for a week" sorta thing, and it's nice to post in there to say "aww have fun" and be nice, but i don't think the topics are really necessary. So i'm hoping that when they come back it's not a "I"M BACK!!" topic, in the lounge. But like Brie said, It's alot easier if they just put it in their signature. But i mean, i wouldn't start closing them yet...just if they get too out of hand. And someone up there mentioned summer vacation and all, so i mean, it would be pointless to make a pinned topic or new forum or somethan. :) Okay |
