I'm saddened to say, although I guess I look forward to feedback on this, but hey what's a routine daily or whatever workout anyone can use to build a six pack? What I do isn't working for me. I don't think I have enough fat to turn to muscle. At least that's what I thought until I saw some 9 year old a Dorney Park with a six pack. Tips? I know I could use some. *clueless* cry.gif

hahaha no. that doesn't work.

most people that want a six-pack just start doing situps and whatnot. yeah, sure you can do thousands of those every day for months and you'll eventually get them, but there is a MUCH EASIER way to get them.

first of all, you have to lower your body fat percentage. if your body fat is over 10%, no matter how strong your abs are, they probably won't show because you've got a flab of fat covering them...

so what i'd recommend is
1.) eating regularly---but HEALTHY (don't starve yourself. that doesn't work either)
2.) RUN! EVERY SINGLE DAY! <---most people don't know it, but that's the key ingredient to getting a six-pack. RUNNING. it's most essential in lowering body fat percentage. if you're not much of a runner, go at a slow jog--just make sure you get a lot into it. i usually do between 1 mile - 5 miles a day--usually on the latter side depending on my mood. and if you REALLY can't run---swim.

you should mainly do it first thing when you wake up--on an empty stomach.

3.) follow that immediately with an ab workout. i highly recommend: http://www.musclemedia.com/training/BootCamp.asp <---good exercises, at no strain--but maximum effort. the exercises are pretty easy to go through---and by the 4th workout---i'm certain you'll start seeing some results--depending on how fit you are to begin with.

most people who only do crunches ONLY target one part of their abs--mainly the upper part. that workout helps you work your lower abs (the hardest to work), intercoastals, and upper abs.

the key thing is just to be patient.

you can't expect results your first few days. it takes PATIENCE and determination to get what you want. you just have to keep going. who said it was going to be easy?

i started out with about 13% bodyfat--since i was already a track runner, so it didn't take too long.

if you do everything right---and not get lazy and skip it--you should be developing a good 6-pack anytime soon.

good luck happy.gif
