Editors’ Notes First, the cB News team would like to thank our readers, especially those who took the time to give us encouraging comments and suggestions as to how we can improve in the future. Those messages provided us a sense of accomplishment and pride in our works. Again, we thank you, and we will always look forward to serve the cB community to the best of our abilities. As with any service, ours has the potential to excel or stagnate, and while we aim for the former, we welcome any constructive criticism as much as we welcome praise. The createBlog Health Forum
cB News Staff July 2005 The createBlog Health Forum CreateBlog has always attracted threads that push the limit of the PG-13 guideline. Ergo, the push for a "Sex Forum", where all the threads previously in relationships, the boys' locker, and the girls' locker, would go; hopefully, with such a forum, the rest of createBlog would be kept relatively sex-free. The "sex forum" was met with enthutiasm and skepticism. The mods were evenly divided. Would such a forum become a spamming ground for immature users? Various solutions, including age limits, were proposed, but there didn't appear to be a way to enforce them. Finally, a compromise was reached: a "health" forum. Its name was chosen so that any sex related topics had to be about sexual health, meaning no threads about the other aspects of sex. The heath forum was then populated with threads concerting all apsects of health and let loose into interests, where all outcast threads seemingly go. And so, between the food and homework forums in interests, createBlog users can now find the new health forum, where they can "discuss topics in health including conditions, sexual health, nutrition, etc." |
