around two days ago was my dad's birthday. so i made him a card that's got a pop up cake and candles
 ..it also wrote how old he's turning. then today. he gave it back and said "i dont want this. who needs birthday cards? where am i going to keep them? you take it back"  we always had this bad relationship. on my birthday and the whole family was celebrating, wen hes by the window talking to his friends and watching the tv. making him eat the cake was like feeding someone cow dung. he always shouted me for the smallest things and she likes my sister way better than me. i dunno wat to do..

that's a lot better then my dad. i gave him a birthday card i was working forever on and it was perfect. the next morning i find it ripped in a million pieces in the living room...he doesnt even bother to say anything about it...

Wow, that's crazy. Your dad is inconsiderate AND he litters! It's hard to give you any advice when I don't have such a good relationship with my dad either. Like as I'm typing he's crying and making himself look pitiful because the dog is nibbling him. He ALWAYS wants people to feel sorry for him and give him attention and etcetera, but he never gives it appropriately in return. And I mean, he's just a puppy and he nibbles at me all the time. Yeah, I guess I'm just ranting and blabbering now. If you feel comfortable enough to talk to him, I'd encourage you to have a 1 on 1 with him and sort things out. And if you're thinking why I "haven't" done this already, the answer is I have many times and he ends up yelling at me and verbally beating me into a bloody pulp. |
