ok umm i poseted sumthin bout my b/f gettin braces rite but now i have a another problem well i tlked 2 him bout braces n it kame 2 the poitnwe were tlkin bout how he wanted 2 perfect himself n how i didn like perfection like he keeps tlkin bout how he relly dun need braces but wants then 2 perfectly straight out his teeth n how he wants his teeth 2 b pearly white n how hes gotta work out more 2 so as he kud get a six pack n buy new kloth so he kud look jig... now i undastand he wants tat but his teeth rnt tat yellow rnt tat crooked hes relly skinny hes 5' 11'' n 140lbs.. n like everytime 1 of his friends gets sum hot new kloths its like he gotta get it 2 his in competiton 2 b the most jig person in skool.. sumtims its like bein jig takes ova him..
newayz for me y wud ne1 need 2 perfect themselves who kares wat other ppl think?...if sum1 dun like u 4 who u r screw them... rite? weel it also kame 2 the poitn were i started thinkin i went out wit him kus he didn kare wat other think he bought wat he liked n didn seek the need 4 perfection like i usta at the time... n now hes suddenly changin n im not sayin that i love him less.. like i love him more n more evceryday...
...but y the sudden need 4 perfection?

It's nothing that unusal, people look for change all the time, but it sounds like your man just has some self-confidence issues, nothing more, nothing less. Honestly, I think he's not only doing it for him, but for you too. If he sees a guy he thinks looks better than him, he can go and assume thats what you think too, and because of that he'll try to be more like the other guy. There's no such thing as perfection, but we all see what we wanna be and we label that as perfect, and if we dont look like that then therefore we arent perfect. Give him time to just mess around with new looks, and let him work out more and stuff if thats what it takes to make him feel good. You said "who cares what other ppl think" - well, you may not, but some other people do...and maybe he used to care, but just didn't shot it as much. so I guess you gotta look at it from different perspectives.
