Amazing, this guy beats it about 20-21 min. Some of the things this guy does it just crazy.

That was crazy...but can someone explain that "rabbit glitch"? The only time I played Super Mario 64 was when I rented it at blockbuster for a few days back in like 3rd grade, but like do u need a certain amount of stars to face Bowser?

And what was the deal with him jumping up n down those stairs before Bowser? lol was that a glitch or did he do it on purpose? He knew a whole lot of glitches/shortcuts..wow he must've played the game a whole lot cuz it was like he knew where everything was.

for bowser one, you need 8, for bowser two, i think it was somewhere around 20 or 30, for bowser three, it was 70 stars.

the rabbit glitch is when you catch the rabbit and use it to get through doors. the game doesn't let you stand on other characters in the castle (like toad for example, try jumping on him), so you automatically slide down the side of the other character. if you bring the rabbit near a door and try to jump, you slide down the side, and go through the door.

for the stairs, i guess you can say it's a glitch. when i first played sm64, i did it by accident and got through to the clock level that way. what it is is a backwards long jump. you can only do a long jump when you are touching the ground, but when you are going up an incline, you are pretty much always touching the ground, so if you do it right, you can travel REALLY fast up the stairs.

I guess they programmed it so that the top of the stairs are moving away from you faster than you can go up. But if you are doing the stairs thing correctly, you can move up the stairs faster than the programmers had anticipated.

Heh, I did the same thing after seeing the video. I beat it in 45 minutes, cause I'm a bit rusty. If only I had a video capture card, I could record it.
