So my fiance and I were watching the Diamonds Are Forever music video (by Kanye) and he asked me, that if I was given a diamond necklace, and I knew where it had came from, how children had slaved over mining it, would I still wear the necklace?
I actually thought over it, but I couldn't answer.  So, same question. Would you buy a diamond necklace (or watch, whatever) if you knew that children had been through so much pain mining it? |

Yeah I'd sell it to a rich white woman saying that it's made out of pure unique diamonds, totally mechanically mined, and that the minerals in the area it was mined from had enhanced it to make it better then anyone elses. Then I would sell it to her for X5 the cost.
