Perhaps it is because I am a programmer myself, but I am always amused by the interesting error messages that sometimes pop up in applications. I was especially humored by this one I got tonight, when I was trying to log into my webmail account:
![]() I thought the "Login failed for some reason" and "Most likely your username and password was entered incorrectly" were nice touches. (As a tangent, that wasn't the error at all, but it was a nice attempt at a guess!) Anyone else have some funny error messages they've come across during their computing adventures? |

I once wrote a quick program that utilized a switch structure to handle data output. I put in a default case that I figured would never, ever come up under normal usage; I didn't have time to figure out exactly what would had to have happened to make that part of the program execute, so I had it throw up a dialog box that said, "An error may or may not have occurrred. Your changes may or may not have been saved."
