first few "vectors" Options

ok..so these were my first attempts at "vectors" back when i didnt know what they really were and how to do them (may 2005)
1st

2nd..after i gaussian blurred it to make it look like other ppl's vectors b/c i noticed my "vectors" always looked different from others =\

3rd..a layout i made w/ what i thought was vectoring..lol

then i learned about the posterize thing..he still looks like a mess tho

then i learn how to use the pen tool


so basically what i did to make "vectors" was outline w/ lasso tool and color in the details w/ a brush and then blur everything which isnt right at all..lol

but thanks to gotnoheart who explained to me what a vector was in this post i finally understood what it was and how to do it properly ...lol

and so this is my very first actual vector..or vexel...

i didnt vector the coat and bg yet b/c i got too lazy to finish

and then my 2nd vector....the file got corrupted right after i finished.. so its gone forever..but it was that first picture in heathasm's vector contest..which was really hard to do b/c of the details on the flowers and the nonexistent details on the hair but it was good practice...

for my 3rd vector =]


so thats the story of my vectoring adventure..lol..just wanted to share and get feedback..any suggestions? comments? criticisms? theres room for improvement lol

I like all of them. The one with the posterize filter looks okay but it is kinda of weird looking. The first and second ones look good, and the layout looks great! =]
