Okay, here's what I did:
1. Went to php.net 2. Downloaded PHP 5.04 zip package 3. Downloaded PHP 5.04 installer 4. Went through steps on the installer and then almost at the end, this poped up: QUOTE Error trying to access the local web server: GetObject Failed. You will need to manually configure iss via the management console. And then it said something like install successful. But it didn't work. Could anyone help or had the same problem before? |

Instead of installing a bunch of odd stuff to get a good webserver running I suggest download foxserv. You can get this at http://foxserv.net FoxServ has all the things a server needs in one. Php, mysql, cgi, ect... Installation is fairly simple as well. I suggest you get version 4.0, not 4.1. 4.1 is buggy and not stable.
