acid dry
my eyes dripped acid on my heart it puddled at my feet a little tap; i came apart you reveled in conceit the morbid bile rose in my throat as time struck forth through time and so i sat, and then i wrote a poem with hate and rhyme it talked of deeds done in the past it talked of lies told to my soul it whispered secrets emptied fast it screamed out of that hole i look down at my empty heart i look and see the acid dry i know now life will never start until the day i die "acid dry" © 2005 by me |
