Why are they so insecure? Because attention is like a drug. Once they taste it they have to have more and can't live without it. Then when someone comes along that might take away the attention of 1 guy out of 100 they go nuts. Its just not enough them and they don't know what to feel. Same thing happens to drug addicts when they don't have drugs, they go through withdrawls. See my point.

Because they're "never pretty enough". Or they feel like they don't have enough personality to sway everybody's attention so they rely on looks alone. *shrugs* A lot of women are competitive by nature and I think that might be a major cause of insecurity when they feel like they aren't as good or as pretty as someone else.
