btw ive checked everywhere about this topic , but none most likely .

anyways considering noone has made a topic about this yet , does anyone around here listen to urban soul / Neo Soul ? ....not your typical Usher , Omarion , Beyonce ,Mario crap bleh X P .....Neo-Soul sounds more laid back with a little bit of Jazz like harmonics . happy.gif

examples of such artists would be Alicia Keys , Erykah Badu , D`angelo , Musiq Soulchild , Indie Arie ,Remy Shand , Dwele , Rhian Benson and John Legend ( i consider him a soul artist tongue.gif )

Does anyone here have a favorite ?

I LOVE neo-soul. It's such an honest and open form of music.

My Favorite Neo-Soul artists would have to be,
Angie Stone (Stone Love is an AMAZING album)
Vivian Green
India.Arie
Floetry (has anyone seen them lately? I heard both of them lost a lot weight)
Jill Scott
Jaguar Wright
Nicole Ferrell-the only 'soetry' artist
Leela James
Goapele (So hyped for her album coming out in August)
Musiq
Van Hunt (very original style)
Erykah Badu (Baduizm is definatly one of the greatest albums of all time)
Tony! Toni! Toné!
Lyfe Jennings (Another AMAZING album)
Maxwell
D'angelo
Anthony Hamilton

I know I'm forgetting someone...
