As you can see in this image-
![]() the picture of hillary duff is faded in, i use to know how 2 do it but sadly forgot, and one more questing, how do people use the lasso tool so perfectly, ive practced really hard but my hand somtimes just slips.. any tips? i knw theres probably a tutorial but,i couldn't find it. |

There are many things you can do with the lasso tool.. what are you trying to do ?
And for the faded in picture, you select the entire picture of Hilary Duff with the selecting tool, then on the Tool options Bar thingie at the top, you change the Feather. To say.. 20px. Then you select it again. And Right Click > Invert selection. Then you delete (Delete button on keyboard). It'll delete the faded edges.
