Does anybody know any good/popular Chinese pop & rock artists/bands?
I'm a fan of Dir en grey, Linkin Park, Evanescence, System of a Down, The Cure, HIM, and Outkast.... Can anybody help?  Thank you!

Anyway...from the list of bands that you like, I suggest you check out the Taiwan music scene. Taiwan's music has grown more and more rock and roll (e.g., F.I.R.) over the years, and you'll find something you'll like in there. If you're looking for really good pop singers that have been in the business for a while, I suggest Jay Chou, Alex Lee Hom Wang, David Tao, Leo Ku, Joey Yung, Eason Chan and Denise Ho. For younger, talented pop singers, I'd go for Wilfred Lau (I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this guy) and Deep Ng (SO much potential). Have fun listening to some good music. =) |
