Welcome to class today! Today's lesson will be over spelling.
If you don't spell words correctly, people will think you're unintelligent. Here are some commonly misspelled words on this forum, with the misspellings to the right: misspelled mispell where were our/are are/our my mah shit shyt asian azn back baq the letter "o" 0 The right column spellings are incorrect. Do not spell these words that way. Yes, this lesson is shorter than the other, but these are just words Ms. Kim and I have noticed to be misspelled often. Don't forget, our test will be on Friday. |

QUOTE(basick @ Jul 6 2005, 4:53 PM) also a lesson on the difference between "I couldn't care less" and "I could care less" I always see those used interchangably Both makes sense? "I couldn't care less" is when you care so little, there's no way to care less. "I could care less" is when you don't care about it, so you can care less about it... QUOTE(tcunningham1589 @ Jul 7 2005, 11:37 AM) I.e. vs. E.g. e.g.: exempli gratia He had the best software, e.g., Photoshop, Limewire, and Aim. i.e.: id est Jocelynn is the dunce—i.e., she wasn’t very smart. 2-cents Oooh...interesting. I didn't know that. |
