I don't know, I don't think its that good, but its one of the better things I have written. *shrug*



Rose Red Lips

He caressed her face gently, delicately, and she sighed with relief, closing her eyes and leaning into him. Everything was going to be alright, she thought.

It was to be her last thought.

He wiped the blood off of the knife, and returned in to his pocket. He looked at her corpse, lying there on the floor. It was a shame, but he felt no remorse. Remorse was for the weak. His time would come soon. He left her apartment, taking to the night streets of the metropolitan area like an animal to its natural habitat. She wasn’t the first, but she was near the last. There was one more. He found a space in an alley. It was time to rest.

He trembled, holding the first body. She gasped for breath, his knife sticking out of her left lung. He had missed her heart. But he was right. He was right.

Dawn. He needed to change his clothes soon. It was after the third. This one had been messy. He had cut her throat in the end. He smiled inwardly.

He opened his eyes. Time to find the last. There. Medium height, slim, long dark hair, rose red lips, dark eyes. Perfectly proportioned. He walked behind her, his pace just out of sync with hers. She would end this for him even as he ended it for her. He smiled inwardly.

H watched her exhale her last breath, and smiled. He had been right. He slid down towards the floor, leaving a streak of his blood on the wall behind him. He felt the wounds in his back, and he finally was happy. He could finally have peace.

He exhaled one last time.
