Okay, I'm in an interesting situation.

I've got a friend that I'm sort of dating, in that we go out together a lot, but we aren't really in a relationship. This has been going on for almost 6 months now, and I'm beginning to realize that I have some kind of feelings for her. She isn't sure how she feels about me, and another person she knows, via the internet, has claimed that he loves her (at least, this is what she has told me), but she doesn't know how she feels about him, either. She did know him when they were both 14 or so, but he moved away, and is in an abusive relationship at the moment. Thats kinda backstory, or something, anyway.

She and I spend a lot of time with her, and enjoy her company, and she enjoys mine, but what should I do about the whole feelings thing?

I guess I should also point out that feelings and I don't get along so well because of events in my past. >.>

At anyrate, if any of you understand that gibberish, I would like a bit of input. Blunt statements work well, too. ^.^;;

Ok, right off the batt, the abusive relationship has to stop. The guy she talks to on the internet (we'll call him Internet Boy) has to get out of the abusive relationship no matter the situation. Now, pertaining to the fact that he says he loves her, well she has to figure out how she feels about that, and about you, and what she will do after she figures out how she feels. Since you say you have feelings for her, you should make it entirely clear to her, and hope she will feel the same about you.

(sorry that didn't make much sense)
