Love Confusion? Options

Okay so this is what happened and I dont know what to do...:
So I went to this camp and I met a lot of good friends and a few guys. And I met this one guy and we talked and I lied down on his lap and like we laughed and he makes fun of me and I make fun of him. Anyways we were leaving the next day and I go home and than go online and I talk to him and I tell him I like him (he has a girlfriend) and he says haha I like you too, sorry but youre not the girl I love though. And so I say yeah I understand. Than afterwards I noticed that he talks and communicates with me more than his girlfriend and so I tell him online I feel bad cuz everytime I talk to you I fall for you deeper and I also feel bad cuz you have a girlfriend. He just laughs and says Its okay as long as we dont make out or something cuz I want to stay with my girlfriend for a long time. So than I said but I dont feel alright with this and than we get into this huge fight and than I ask him, Do you really like me? Or did you say that cuz I told you I liked you? And he answers Nah I like you as a Really Close Friend. And Im just in shock and saying wth?! And than he gets all touchy and says so you want me to dump my girlfriend to go out with you? And I just say I never said that and than he talks to me like nothing ever happened the last 30 mins. And now Im really confused.......I asked him today to tell me why he said he ever liked me if he never did and he says I said that? I dont remember saying that? Did I really? And than I said How do you NOT remember?! And than he says Oh right I remember, Ill tell you later. And Im just so confused what do I do? I still Really like him. Help me please?

I was in a similar situation...only for me, the guy didn't have a girlfriend. He had a girl that he was after.

I told him that I liked him...but failed to mention that I like him more than just regular friends. He took it as "I like you as a normal friend" so he replied with a "I like you too". Of course, I believed that he liked him and thought that we had a chance at being bf/gf. However, as I found out from my friends, who found out from his close friends, that he only liked me as a good friend, and not in the same way that I liked him. So I confronted him, and we had a long talk about it, and in the end, we ended up laughing over it because it was pretty funny afterwards.

As for you, I think that when he said that he liked you, he meant it as the "I like you in the close friend type of way, not the girlfriend way" And he did tell you that he likes you as a Really Close Friend...and you know, he might be joking around when he said that he likes you. I don't know, but he might be saying it just to please you, because that's what you want to hear from him. I wouldn't break him up with his girlfriend, but I definitely would have a serious talk with him just to see how things are.

And remember, even if you can't be bf/gf with him, sometimes, the best relationship between a girl and a guy is being just friends and I found out the hard way this year.
