OK, I got a big trouble here. Recently, all my friends started to seem to isolate and ignore me and I was like WTF but who cares. Just today, One of my frineds told me that they all ignored me because I was a 'kiss ass' WHICH I'M NOT!!! I do give out compliments eg. one of my friends rock in table football so I say dude you rock in table football and everyone started saying Im a kiss ass and I am totally lost.
Q 1 How can I explain to them that i was just complimenting them and tell them. And how can I explain to them wen they all ignore me Q 2 Why do they think this and how can I stop it All help appreciated |

Maybe they're just teasing you. It's your choice entirely if you want friends like that. It's immature for people to think others are suckups because they compliment other people. That's happened to me before. It takes a level of maturity to compliment people just for the sake of complimenting them and not to gain respect for yourself from them. Your friends need to grow up, but there's no reason for you to burn bridges and hate them. Just play along, but if it gets out of hand and it gets personal, maybe they're just not good, true friends. |
