![]() with that pic im trying to select just the band so that when i paste that pic for a layout im making i wont have the background but i cant figure out how to do that. i tried the magnetic lasso but it cut off some parts of the pic (like shoes or hands) ... is there another way? |

Try using the magic wand tool (press W) underneath the hand tool. Since the background is a solid color, it will be easy. Click on the green part and it will be a selection. Press delete/backspace. You can change the tolerance on the toolbar and it will pick up less/more of the image.
