I'm a little scared..maybe even paranoid about getting an infection and stuff. Do any of you have any advice you can give me? I also heard that wearing "real" material like...real silver or gold is better. Is that true?

Your piercings will be most vulnerable to infection during the first 2 months after piercing, but if you take proper care of them you should be fine. Try getting them done at a well-known place or something. Where i got mine pierced, they provided cleaning and healing solutions which you have to apply three times a day and all that jazz.
Wearing "real" material doesn't necessarily prevent infections. It depends on the person, since some people have naturally sensitive skin. But silicon (the plastic kind) should be fine for everybody. |
