I know this board is mostly made up of pre-college students, but I've noticed that there are a few college students (or older) hanging about. So enough about these topics about high school and middle school or whatnot--this one's for the college students, and anyone who has (*gasp*) graduated from college, too! If you're a college student (or graduate) what is (or was) your major--and if you're feeling like an overachiever, go ahead and tell what you hope to do (or did) with that degree after college!

I am a student at the great school known as Bucknell University (yes, that's right--we did, in fact, beat Kansas). I started off as an English major, but I grew tired of writing papers that involved my pretending to read too much into literature, so I switched to BA Computer Science instead. I'm hoping to attend some sort of graduate school for CS, preferably on the west coast. After that, not sure what I want to do. Perhaps something involving journalism in the technology world, or maybe just working for a company (I am especially interested in working for Apple, Pixar, Sun, or SGI right now, for you fellow computer nerds who are interested). Or...perhaps film documentaries. I actually spend a lot of time doing that now, and I enjoy it--not to mention the fact that I learn a lot from it.

Hehe, cool, college topic cool.gif. Well I'm a freshmen underachiever going to Frostburg State University this fall. I am pessimistic so I can't say I have any talents _dry.gif. But I still conclude that Computer Science is the most fitting for me since I spent a whole lot of time on it learning stuff for the past 3 or 4 years. I'm only afraid it might be too arduos and I will end up spending more then 4 yrs, jobless, wasting my time and life. Let me stop... mellow.gif
