With JKR, it would be difficult to have a clear idea of the next character to die. The only characters who have died so far that have been pretty close to Harry, are the people who offer him a sense of security. I have noticed that some of you disagree completely with the theory of Albus Dumbledore dying. You say he can't. Well let's face it, Dumbedore is suppose to be the only wizard that Voldemort fears and after his speach to Harry in OTF, a much stronger bond is being formed between the two. It's my belief that Voldemort will not die by the hands (or wand
 ) of Harry until that sense of security (Dumbledore) has died. Let's face it, he is also very old. I'm not saying for sure that he will die in the next book, but he probably will before the end of the 7th.

My theories always change upon someone else mentioning something with a bit of a "back up" to it. Now that you mention the idea of security, it does seem likely this would happen, though like you said, in the last book. I'd really like to hear your thoughts on who you believe will be the character to die in the upcoming book. |
