Sorry, if this is a little bit off topic. How come people start saying good things about others when they're missing? Like, Natalie Holloway. She had a good GPA. Blah blah blah. She was a good person. When in reality, she's probably some ditzy, conceited, person. Understand this is a hypothetical thought. So that I won't spam, I think that Natalie Holloway doesn't deserve all this attention.

QUOTE(lakerfever2476 @ Jun 29 2005, 1:32 AM) Sorry, if this is a little bit off topic. How come people start saying good things about others when they're missing? Like, Natalie Holloway. So that I won't spam, I think that Natalie Holloway doesn't deserve all this attention. Yeah, I see your point. I was wondering the same thing. At a funeral, whether this person was respectable or not, they'd always take that time to mention the good things. Why? I'm guessing because it's just to pay respects to the dead. It's the least you could do once they're gone. All you have left are memories of this girl (since she's presumably dead), so why not keep good memories? And her parents are probably in denial that she's dead and are like, "She'll come back soon. She's a good girl." I actually don't care though, so enough of my off-topicness. |
