I've always loved drawing. Mostly just doodling. So did my eldest sister but my parents would always disencourage her saying she would turn out to be a bum and all this crap. So that made me to decide to just quit trying to be artistic and to not take any art classes. So I guess one day my parents saw one of my drawings and they subscribed an art magazine for me. Now they're telling me that they want me to draw and paint so they could sell them at the swap meet or hang them around the house or something. They're getting excited about all these paintings I can do but I don't really want to. I'm not even all that great at painting! I think it's a waste of money and time but I feel too guilty to tell them anything.
I think this is a pretty stupid topic. I don't know why I'm making this... but have your parents ever made you do something you didn't want to? |

in 3rd grade my mom made me take Girl Scouts and then in 4th or 5th grade she made me take piano lessons. i hated both.
