everything worked out, except for the color of the dates. i tried to make them white... "ffffff". i screwed up before by only putting 5 letters in, but i double checked it & retyped it.
can anyone tell me whats wrong with this?

You left out the ; after the color hex code for your dates.

You also left out the # in some other places for the color hex codes... you might want to add them back.
