my best friend is a guy and sometimes it seems like he acts like a boy friend around me ive asked a bunch of my other friends and they said that he is doing what a really close good brother type best friend does.. so now im confused... what is the difference between a best friend and a boy friend?
edit for example... a lot of guys really just want ass from me and i would tell him the things they say to me [since i tell him EVERYTHING] and he would get really upset and say things like "i really want to them to say that to you in front of me so i could punch them" |

I'm a best friend to a girl, just like yours. And there is one big diffrence between us and a boyfriend.
We typically become your pseudo boyfriends. The sad thing is that we sometimes (most times, in my case)will end up liking the other. He might like you now. On the other hand, we also become your pseudo big brother. We'll be pissed if someone is screwing around with you and will feel protective. You trust us, we trust you and now comes a responsability. He cares for you, hang on to him, because not many guys will care. |
