I searched, and I couldn't find any topics that asked people to submit their favorite foods from their home countries. I thought it would be cool if you could give us your favorite food from your home country, and if possible, submit a recipe for that food.
I'm from India, so my personal favorite food from there is pau bhaaji. It's kind of like a burger, only the filling in between the bread is a vegetable mix. I'll try to find a recipe later. |

QUOTE(ladystarr @ Jun 21 2005, 7:16 PM) yummy...except i've never had fishballs! so I don't know about that. I like...GOOD creamy leche flan and pancit palabok too! you should. so when you get to go to the phils (or if you live there) buy the ones where they sell in the streets. (you know what i mean right?)oh yes, i can't forget palabok. & add ariscaldo. it's a good thing my mom can cook all of those. except fishballs. |
