I was at the mall tonight and I went to the Louis Vuitton store. The attendant was sure to remind me that "we don't encourage people to come in here without the intention of purchasing anything".
To which I responded with "well, I do have the intention of buying something." I don't know if I'm overreacting, but this really hurt my feelings. I ended up buying three shirts, a pair of slacks, and a wallet. I wish I could have bought back my pride ![]() |

i haven't really experienced that..however, i've had people charging me MORE than what the item would really cost thinking i have more money than i do.
my sister was carrying a fake louis vuitton purse (nicely-made however, so it looked real) when she, my aunt, and i walked into a boutique on melrose avenue in LA. they had a shirt that said "jesus is my sugar daddy" and i wanted it cause i thought it was funny (don't reply to this telling me it's disrespectful or something please). i asked how much it was and the saleslady came up and looked at the guy at the counter and was like "how much is this..for her?" and the guy was like "35." 35 bucks for a little t-shirt?! i just looked at the guy and walked out.. i thought that was just..wrong. even if i DID have more money than the average customer, i shouldn't have to pay more for a shirt than others. |
