i dont know if i can start contests but i wanna start havin a monthly colorization contest it doesn't matter if you don't actually colorize it [i.e. you cut & paste a grayscaled pic over tha original and erase] cuz i don't so here we go only rule is you MUST post your image(s) AND the original image so we can compare
my image  original image  okay that is my newest one so post yours up and we'll check them out //edit// hehe i thought i'd post up my best one so far too my image  original image

That's not colorizing. That's desaturating and keeping some things color. That would be an 'alteration'
